My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nala was born in March 2020 in a shelter in Greenville, SC. Her parents adopted her as a puppy and spent her first 18 months living with them in their apartment in SC.
In October 2021, Nala and her parents moved to her current home in Palm Harbor, FL. She enjoys her fenced in backyard chasing squirrels, and playing ball and frisbee with her Grandpa, her current caregiver. She enjoys riding in the car, visiting the dog park, and going on nature walks. She loves hanging in the kitchen during meal prep time, has a dislike of loud noises (doorbells, knocks on the door, delivery trucks, etc).
She does fine being left alone in the house for hours but is used to human companionship. She grew up as an only dog and without human children. Her engagements with other dogs (at dog parks) and with children are cautious, submissive, and non-aggressive.
During quiet time (evenings) Nala is very sweet and lovable. Loves belly rubs, petting, and sitting with Grandpa on his recliner.
