Their adoption process

Puppies under 6 months must be spayed/neutered before one year of age. This must be scheduled and paid for by the new owner and is separate from the adoption fee.

Adoption fees:
Puppies under 6 months - $450
Dogs Over 6 months - $250

    You'll come to our facility to visit the dog(s) you're interested in.
  3. Sign Adoption Contract
    Sign our adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.
  4. Sign Adoption Contract
    Sign paperwork to finalize the adoption

Please email (contact@PDA) or text us (613-531-2275) to book a meeting. We typically book meetings weeknights at 7pm or on Sundays. Exceptions can be made for those coming from out of town. An application must be completed before your meeting.

More about this shelter

Founded in 2021, our goal is to prepare surrendered dogs for their new life. Dogs in our care receive medical care, training, and socialization to become their best selves while they search for their furever family.
