Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Puddle the senior domestic longhair! We estimate her to be around 10yrs old.
Puddle is a very petite girl at 6lbs- she often gets mistaken for a kitten! She spent the first half of her life as a stray outdoor kitty and she is still learning that not all humans are scary. She is looking for a quiet and patient home, where she can live out her golden years!
Puddle can take a while to warm up to new people and surroundings and tends to hide when she’s anxious. Once you gain her trust, she is a sweet girl. She doesn’t typically seek out attention, but she does allow her trusted humans to find her and pick her up without a fight. Once picked up, she often melts into your arms.
She is overall a very independent girl. She loves relaxing on her cat tower, looking out windows and getting cozy in any dark/confined space she can find. Her current favorite napping spots include closets and sock bins! After catching up on her beauty sleep all day, she always jumps up to the crinkle of her food bag! This girl LOVES food.
With her long hair, she does require frequent brushing. She sits very well for this and often falls asleep during grooming sessions.
Puddle loves other cats and they tend to make her more comfortable. She is nervous around dogs and children. She would thrive in a quiet household who doesn’t mind a shy grandma kitty!
Puddle is spayed, up to date on vaccines, FIV/FeLV negative and microchipped. She also does great at using her scratching posts and litter box. She does have a old (healed) eye wound that needs monitored. She requires no special care at this time but there is a slight possibility it may need removed in the future.
