Say hello to James, an endearing Himalayan gentleman with a heart full of love and a mind of his own. With his plush fur, soulful eyes, and gentle charm, James is looking for a forever home that matches his peaceful spirit.

James thrives in a calm, cozy home where he can share his days with a fellow easygoing kitty or a gentle small dog. He enjoys the quiet life—watching birds flutter by from a sunny window perch is his idea of a perfect afternoon. He's also quite the conversationalist, offering sweet little meows to let you know when it's dinner time (or just to say hello!).

Though he's easygoing, James still has a playful side—he adores feather wands and dangling toys. Engage him in a quick play session, and you'll see his eyes light up with joy.

James is currently on a special diet due to a history of urinary crystals, but he's been doing wonderfully since entering rescue and just needs to stay on his current food to remain healthy and happy.

He currently lives with his foster family in Sacramento.
