Layla is a gorgeous Persian-mix with soft, peach-tinged fur and soulful amber eyes. Her best friend, Kinzi, is a cheerful orange-and-white beauty with a matching Persian look and large Puss-n-Boots eyes. Kinzi had to undergo a major haircut before her journey to safety due to prior neglect, and Layla’s fur was trimmed as well—but with time, care, and love, they’ll both regain their full, fluffy glory.
These two are the definition of outgoing: confident, curious, and full of playful energy. They adore meeting new people, greet guests at the door, and thrive on human companionship. Whether they’re chasing crinkle balls, exploring new corners, or curled up in a purring pile together, Kinzi and Layla are never far from fun—or from you.
Lap cats at heart, they love to stay close and soak up affection. They’re smart, social, and could likely learn tricks or simple commands with ease. Their bond is beautiful to witness, and their joy is contagious.
Fully vetted—spayed, vaccinated, combo-tested, and microchipped—Layla (about 2 years old) and Kinzi (about 1 year old) are in excellent health and have impeccable litter box habits. After making the incredible journey from Egypt to Northern Virginia, they’re now looking for a forever home together.
This pair have a sad past story after cruelly being thrown into the streets of Cairo, but hold no ill-will and want to only look forward. Currently being fostered in Burke, VA, this sweet pair would love a family who will treasure them—and perhaps share occasional photo updates with their devoted Egyptian rescuers who helped save them.
