Zoorey is a pretty 18 year old Brown Tabby/White American Shorthair with classic tabby stripes, and white chin, neck, bib and belly. She has four white feet, large, soulful green eyes, and lots of long white whiskers. This little princess was adopted at eight weeks old and is still going strong. Unfortunately, her human has to go into a retirement home and cannot take her with him, so she is looking for a new home. Zoorey was a beloved Cat and needs to spend the rest of her life napping and watching the world out of the windows. She has no health conditions, eats several times a day and keeps herself clean and neat. Zoorey is a petite sweetheart who has a passion for a pat of butter and some feta cheese (she’s a gourmet!) Zoorey’s favorite activities besides naps are sitting by the bathroom faucet and marveling at the engineering! She keeps to herself with other Dogs and can be a bit shy until she gets to know you…of course it helps if you have some Cat treats! Zoorey loves to play with brown paper bags and is addicted to a cozy spot near the fireplace. She is looking for a loving home where she can spend the rest of her life. All applicants are screened thru our application process. Visitors are welcome at any time to meet and spend time with our animals. Our information is listed if our volunteers are not onsite to answer any and all questions you may have. Potential adoptors are encouraged to call ahead to make sure the Animal they want to meet is in the cattery as some of our Animals are in foster homes.

Cat Connection 501(c) is a non-profit Cat and Dog rescue organization officially established in 1996. We rescue Cats and Dogs from the shelters and streets, take care of their medical and socialization and adopt them into new homes. Cat Connection is an all volunteer group with no paid staff. All donations and money raised goes directly to the care of our Animals.
Cat Connection Animal rescues include: Los Angeles County and City shelters, Animals from homes that can no longer keep them and sick and injured Animals from the streets.
Animals that come into Cat Connection are fully vetted, including testing for FELV/FIV, vaccinations, de-worming and treated for any illnesses and medical conditions.
Cat Connection is a no-kill Rescue Group; all animals stay with us in our Cattery or foster homes until placed into a permanent home.
We offer the public the courtesy of posting their Animals on our Adoption sites and social media if they need to re-home them.
