Rocky is a beautiful dog with a huge heart that is truly a sensitive, gentle giant. Rocky was owned by a grandmother who would walk around the yard with him with her hand on his back, and he was a very noble companion for her. Unfortunately, grandmother passed away unexpectedly from Covid. Rocky is being currently fostered with a veterinarian (relative of grandma,) but is unable to stay because other dogs in the house are hostile to him. Rocky does have very mild arthritis in his elbows as he was rescued as a puppy out of a bad confinement situation, but this is well controlled with Rimadyl. Rocky is excellent with children, elderly people, other dogs, cats, and livestock. Rocky would enjoy a fenced in yard, but also enjoys being a very polite member of the household. Rocky is a beautiful soul and would make an excellent new member of the family.
