My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ursula: queen of sass, bursting with personality, exuding charisma. She's beautiful and opinionated, she knows what she wants and doesn't want.

Ursula is a sweetheart once she trusts you, and she expects her boundaries to be respected. She has the calico attitude and she is not afraid to flaunt it. She does things in her own time and on her own terms, and she is not afraid to tell anyone off. Ursula is looking for a low activity and experienced cat home that will understand her needs and not expect too much too soon from her. She will gladly accept toys and treats, but she will say "no" when she decides play time/pet time is over, or when she is just not in the mood for company. A way to her heart is a comfy cozy window perch on the sunny side of the home where she can sunbathe while napping or watching Cat TV.

If you are looking for a smart girl with spunk and a whole lot of character who is the feline embodiment of a feminist icon to be a cherished member of your family, Ursula is right here!

Adoption fee of $100 includes spay/neuter, FIV and FELV combo test, up-to-date rabies and distemper vaccinations, deworming treatments, flea treatments, and microchip.

More about this rescue

Shadow Cats TNR (SCTNR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to assisting animals in need. Our mission is to establish and manage programs for the welfare of community cats, companion animals, and pet owners needing assistance, in collaboration with other community partners, rescue groups and shelters.

We specialize in controlling the community cat population through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). As a result of the TNR process, we often acquire, along with feral cats, friendly and semi-friendly cats and kittens. We work to place these cats into appropriate homes through our adoption and barn cat programs. SCTNR seeks to educate the public on the importance of spaying/neutering all pets as well as controlling the cat populations in our county.
