Smudge is around twelve years old. She appeared at the last owner's house out in the country. She settled right in with another cat and a dog. Unfortunately, her owner, a 98 year old senior, could no longer care for the pets and moved into a home. Smudge is very healthy, despite a weight problem. She is doing well on her reducing diet. Prospective adopters will need to monitor her food intake. Smudge is very friendly and loving, but she is also mischievous. She loves to get into cabinets and open drawers. She has no qualms about pushing out your treasures to make room her herself. She is still playful.
Smudge has spent most of her life as an inside cat. She is not experienced with cars, streets, or unfriendly dogs. Smudge's perfect home will be indoors with maybe another pet for company and loving owners, who will give her lots of attention and not too many treats. Above all, Smudge would be great for a family with older children or a senior who needs a loving companion.
