My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet George. George is a great dog with a ton of energy that needs some direction for all that energy. He arrived as a stray, but he knows sit and shake really well. George is very anxious in the kennel environment. He would prefer a relaxed home where his people are around most of the time. He has some separation anxiety, likely from being abandoned. George could use some leash training and consistent walks. He does love to fetch and play tug of war. He has done well with other playful dogs. We have not had a chance to introduce him to cats just yet.

George would do best with adults and older, dog savvy children. He is a bit anxious and energetic for small children. He may need a refresher on house behavior as he has not been living in a house since he has been in our care.

George is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. George is looking for that special person to spend time with him helping him feel safe and loved. He is a nice dog with lots of love to give. Are you his special person? Contact us today to meet George!

More about this rescue

Happy Tails at Pegasus was established to provide temporary and transitional housing for animals in need by working with local rescues and shelters. We want to be that soft landing for animals that need immediate removal from their situation. We then work with rescues and fosters to find permanent homes. On occasion, we provide permanent sanctuary for animals that cannot be adopted out.
