If Montego were a person, he’d be the fun friend who always shows up with a squeaky toy and an invite to go jogging. This Husky/Hound/Pitty mix has an upbeat personality and a bounce in his step that makes him impossible not to love. His idea of a perfect day? Meet new people, squeak all the squeaky toys, and then flop down for some snuggle time before heading out on the next adventure.
Montego is crate-trained and already polite with the other dogs in his foster home. He’s still learning the fine art of ignoring the resident kitties (he’s trying, promise!). Because he’s young, he’ll benefit from a home that knows active breeds and is ready to keep his body and brain busy. Older kids who like to play and help with training would be a huge plus.
We strongly encourage adopters to enroll him in a puppy training class—there’s even a $100 rebate on his adoption fee when you complete it.
Montego’s suitcase is packed with toys and enthusiasm—he’s just waiting for his forever travel buddy.
