My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Vader – A Gentle Soul with a Soft Spot (Literally!)

Vader is just under 2 years old and is a black beauty with a tiny white patch on his chest – his only hint of rebellion in an otherwise stealthy coat. He was living outside at a colony when the feeder asked us to take him into our rescue. He is quiet and a bit shy. Vader is still learning that humans can be kind and gentle. While he may keep his distance at first, he’s a sweet and observant boy who just needs time and patience to feel safe. He finds comfort in the company of other cats and would love a calm kitty companion to help show him the ropes and bring out his more confident side. Vader would thrive in a peaceful home with a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time – and that sometimes the quietest cats have the most love to give once they feel secure. If you have a soft spot for the shy ones and a gentle feline friend to help him settle in, Vader might just be the perfect addition to your heart and home.

We received a grant from PetFinder Foundation to help find her forever home! Her adoption fee has been reduced by $100 (adoption fee will be $150).

Cats are negative for FelV/FIV, receive age-appropriate vaccines and deworming, are spayed/neutered and are microchipped (free lifetime registration with adoption).

All of our pets go home with a "Go Home Goody Bag" that includes a starter supply of food, treats, toys, and a voucher for a free month of pet insurance from Trupanion.
