Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mango was found on the streets as a stray. He’s approximately 1.5yr and weighs about 14 pounds.
Mango has made a lot of progress since coming into foster care.
He loves his toys and flips them up in the air and runs after them.
He likes Nylabones.
He can be very active and then happy just being a couch potato too. One of his favorite spots in the evening is perched on top of one of the couches.
He really is adorable.
He loves to be held and will follow you from room to room.
He likes to be close.
He is good with other dogs and older children.
Mango would do best in a home with other dogs around. He loves toys and attention.
Good on a leash and in the car.
He's had no accidents in the house if taken out on a regular basis.
Mango does not like a crate whatsoever. We now leave him free range in the house, and he is happy with no issues.
He is a big jumper, so all food needs to be out of reach even on high counters.
Mango comes when called and is an eager learner. He is so sweet and a happy little guy as well.
His ideal happy home would have someone there most of the time, another dog as a companion and to show him the ropes, a fenced in yard, and a family with lots of love and patience.
Please note that Mango will need a **small friendly dog already living in the forever home chosen for him**. Children in the home need to be at least 10 years old. **There are no exceptions to these requirements**. These requirements help ensure that Mango adjusts well and thrives in his new environment.
