Hello everyone! Our names are Chip and Dale and we are 10 years old. Our family had to give us back to Pick Me! Pet Rescue because we became inconvenient after 10 YEARS!!! They adopted us as puppies and weren’t able to keep us anymore because their youngest, who we grew up with was going to college and they wanted to move. We’ve been with them our entire lives since we left the rescue over 9 years ago. We’re really sad, but we’re also really excited to find our TRUE forever home and go on new adventures. We are good boys and we are very loving and sweet. We love going outside to chase lizards and hang out sniffing stuff. We’re really good boys inside as well and keep ourselves entertained with each other. We’re completely potty trained, our current on all of our vaccines, neutered, current on heartworm and flea prevention, and we come with adoption kits from Petsmart for all of our new stuff and free bags of food. The procedures for an adoption are as follows:
1. Contact the listed email address for an application.
2. Fill in the application completely and return it.
3. The director processes the application, which may take a few days, and will then confer with the foster parent. The foster parent or director will then contact the applicant.
4. Telephone interview - Q & A about the match.
5. Home visit - every household member should be present.
6. Adoption - if everything goes well it can be the day of the visit. This is when the fee would be donated and all of the paperwork would be signed.

We feel that the best way to get a pet a new home is to list them on an adoption site and follow a proven, standard process to approve a new home for them. We list dogs that we are currently fostering and dogs that we are not fostering ourselves, through 'courtesy posts' so that they will get the second chance they need through sites like adopt-a-pet to find a wonderful new family. Every dog that we adopt will have it's current vaccines, be spayed or neutered, microchipped, and be on regular flea and heart worm preventive.
