Spaniel Radcliffe was found near train tracks at a homeless encampment in Bakersfield, a city battling a severe stray dog crisis. With shelters overwhelmed and thousands of dogs at risk of euthanasia annually, Radcliffe’s chances would have been slim at the local facility. That’s why for many years Shelter Hope has made it a priority to rescue dogs from Bakersfield, giving dogs like Spaniel Radcliffe the best opportunity for care and a loving forever home.

Since arriving, he has proven to be gentle, affectionate, and easygoing. He is a 3-year-old Spaniel mix with a soft coat and soulful eyes who loves to smile! He’s super sweet and loves to cuddle and snuggle with his humans. Weighing 20 pounds, he has a calm and loving nature. Spaniel Radcliffe enjoys being around people, gets along well with other dogs, and loves attention. He does have some separation anxiety, so he would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the day.

Neutered and up-to-date on vaccines, Spaniel Radcliffe is ready for the safe, stable forever family he deserves!
