Frankie is a XL bundle of love and goofiness! He is 2 years old and 100lbs! Our best breed guess would be a corso or mastiff mix. He was found as an extremely underweight stray in Indy. He had eaten trash to survive—glass, nails, bones, wood and other debris. Now he is healthy, fully vetted and ready to find his family!
He loves humans, especially those who play with him and give butt scratches. He’s a leaner, and a lay on top of you kind of guy, so he’d love a human who wants a 100lb warm weighted “blanket” to snuggle. He is dog selective, but not reactive. He does fairly well on walks but is working on loose leash walking in training! He does great at the vet, for car rides and in the bath (but he will need to wallow and rub off all the clean immediately after😆). He really just enjoys the small things like a new stuffy or having a day to lounge with his favorite humans!
Frankie comes with professional positive reinforcement based training, a crate and forever love and support from his foster family!

Our primary media to find our adoptable animals is our Facebook page. It lists a short bio and usually a phone number to contact the foster home directly. We also do public adoption events on a regular basis at our PetSmart home-base in Plainfield, IN. Contact us or apply to set up a meet with any of our adoptable animals!

More about this rescue
Founded in January 2016, Creekside Animal Rescue provides shelter & care for homeless animals until they are adopted into permanent homes. This is done through a network of loving, committed foster homes spread out in multiple counties. The animals receive a personal commitment from Creekside Animal Rescue when accepted into the rescue family, that they will all ways have a place to call home and never spend the remainder of their days in a shelter ... we take our animals back at any point an adopter can no longer care for the animal.
