My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Frankie 🤎

Frankie is a little over 1 year old and about 100lbs. He is the goofiest foster pup we’ve had—he’s always making us laugh with his light mischief and clumsiness. He loves stuffies and often cherishes them. He does good with playful dogs but would also thrive as an only dog.

Frankie gets the best backyard zooms.🏎️ Afterwards he loves to sunbathe on the trampoline. He is always down for a nap and snuggles with his humans. Butt scratches and mid day cuddles are the key to his heart. He’s never turned down food, from kibble to cucumbers everything is a treat to him! He’s excellent at training. He does need some more basic obedience skills. As of now he’s got sit, lay, touch and recall down!

Frankie can be quite watchful and slightly protective over his home and humans. He warms up easily with guests/family visitors but has shown some discomfort with strangers at events. Once you’re in with Frank, you’re in! He’s got the biggest heart for those he loves, both dogs and humans. He unfortunately doesn’t offer the same grace to cats, so no cats please!

Go meet their pets

Our primary media to find our adoptable animals is our Facebook page. It lists a short bio and usually a phone number to contact the foster home directly. We also do public adoption events on a regular basis at our PetSmart home-base in Plainfield, IN. Contact us or apply to set up a meet with any of our adoptable animals!

More about this rescue

Founded in January 2016, Creekside Animal Rescue provides shelter & care for homeless animals until they are adopted into permanent homes. This is done through a network of loving, committed foster homes spread out in multiple counties. The animals receive a personal commitment from Creekside Animal Rescue when accepted into the rescue family, that they will all ways have a place to call home and never spend the remainder of their days in a shelter ... we take our animals back at any point an adopter can no longer care for the animal.
