Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I am what everyone calls a "Rare Arkansas Brown Dog!". My breed is rare and unique. at least that is what my foster mommy says I am. She told me that I am special because my "breed" is known for its distinctive shade of coffee-with-a-touch-of-mud brown. She said that my breed is highly sought after for its unique ability to blend into any landscape—especially in the backyards of Arkansas! She also said I am really lovable and even though "Rare Arkansas Brown Dogs" are often mistaken for each other, that we all have our own special quirks which makes us such a fun "breed" to have. I am pretty sure though that she says all of this so I don't feel bad she doesn't really know what I am.
I was part of a litter that nobody wanted. I am still with my sisters and brothers but I know I need to have my own family. I used to be really shy but my foster mom says I have truly blossomed in the last month and that I have revealed my vibrant personality. I have no idea what vibrant is but I guess it sounds like a good thing. I am super playful. My siblings used to beat me up but I am learning to stand up for himself during wrestling matches. I realized I don't need to be afraid to join the fun.
My foster mommy is super proud of me that I have learned how to tell her when I need to go potty because I go to the back door and paw at it. I would like to tell you that I figured that out all by myself but I feel like I need to tell you that my foster brother who is a big German Shepherd taught me how to do it. I love to explore when I go outside, I love to run and smell the things in the air. I also love to put my nose on the ground and smell all of the good things like where a squirrel has run. I do like to be lazy though too. When I am sleepy, I love to sleep by my foster mom's feet. I hope you will adopt me. I am super sweet and want to have a family of my own. I promise I will be the bestest dog ever!
Love, Snickers
