Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Milky Way Midnight is a love! She loves a good rub, even accepting gentle rubs on her belly. She will show her appreciation with lots of purrs. She also enjoys being brushed. She enjoys sitting on your lap when it's her decision, but she won't overstay her welcome. She LOVES to eat and is highly food motivated. Her feeding needs to be monitored, as she will eat more than she needs. She loves to play with wand toys, and will look for opportunities where you will play with her. She is very easy going in a calm, quiet environment. She will startle easily at unexpected or loud noises. She does love her sister Sweet Tart, and would like to find a home with her.
Sweet Tart is very friendly and quick to make friends! She enjoys a good pet, and will seek out your attention when she's in the mood for some attention. She will reward you with big purrs! She is highly food motivated, though she prefers canned food over dry. She LOVES all treats! She enjoys a good play session with a wand toy, but also enjoys kicker toys. She loves her sister Milky Way Midnight, and often will groom her for brief periods of time. She would love to find a home with her sister.

More about this shelter
Welcome to CMHS! In continuous operation since 1943, the Central Missouri Humane Society promotes the well-being of companion animals – pets that enrich the lives of the people who love them.
The Columbia Humane Society was formed in 1943 to provide shelter and care for Columbia’s abandoned animals. Originating in a little structure on Creasy Springs Road, the organization has grown into today’s Central Missouri Humane Society, a regional animal welfare agency caring for thousands of animals annually and providing veterinary services for low-income pet owners.
