My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gigi is a six year old pittie/hound mix. She likes treats and snackies more than pets and is looking for a home with a patient, experienced handler that would love to give her snacks, teach her tricks and have fun adventures together. She is a high energy girlie that needs lots of outdoor time and exercise. Her ideal home would make her the spoiled, center of attention as an only dog and with no small children. She might have potential with one other dog and slow, experienced introductions.

Gigi is spayed and current on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $150 and she receives: free dog training support for life (including our fun group classes!), 30 days of health insurance through MetLife for pets and a free bath, nail trim and ear cleaning from our friends at Scenthound.

Please fill out an application so we can get to know you better and a member of our team will reach out to answer questions.

More about this rescue

Happy Trails Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 nonprofit rescue based in Central Florida. Established in 2013, we have successfully placed over 200 dogs. As we continue to grow, we have opened our Community Resource Center in 2019 and provide training, education, grooming events, and a food pantry for those in need in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties. Thanks to our training scholarships, we have helped over 100 rescue dogs have continued success in their furever home.
