My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bubbles

Bubbles is a 2-year-old patch tabby who has survived more than most—and come out shining. After a brutal animal attack left her with bite wounds and a tail that couldn’t be saved, this brave girl healed with a charming little stump, a fierce 3½-legged stride, and a whole new outlook on life. She’s resilient, affectionate, and just sassy enough to keep things interesting.

Bubbles wins the heart of every person and cat she meets. In foster care, she even has a boyfriend—Marlow—who adores her just as much. She’d be happy in a home with another friendly cat, but she could also be your one-and-only if you have the time, attention, and cuddles she demands. And snacks. Don’t forget the snacks.

She prefers a calmer, less chaotic home where she can relax, and rule her kingdom in peace.

If you believe in second chances, tiny miracles, and love stories written in courage and purrs, Bubbles may just be your perfect match.

Bubbles is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.

Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

Additional adoption info

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
