Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mooney is a sweet, mellow black Lab around 8-9 years old. He was rescued from San Bernardino Animal Control and adopted by my parents in 2017. After my mom passed in 2023, Mooney became my dad's loyal companion. Sadly, my dad is now on hospice and no longer able to care for him.
Mooney is affectionate and calm, house-trained, and walks well on a leash. He used to love fetch and still gets excited when we visit. He enjoys naps, sunny spots, and being near his people. He can be a little rambunctious with other dogs at first but usually settles in. However, he is not good with cats and needs a cat-free home.
We can't keep him due to our own pets, but we're hoping someone can give him the love he's given us. He's a wonderful dog who just wants a soft place to land in his golden years.
