Meet Corazon!
Corazon, also known as Bean, is a sweet Chihuahua mix with a lot of love to give—she just needs the right person to help her feel safe and confident. Bean is very slow to warm up to new people, loud noises, and fast movements, but once she feels comfortable, she shows just how affectionate and playful she can be. She enjoys playing in the backyard, running around with joy, and spending time with other confident, playful dogs.
Bean loves cozy moments on the couch or under the covers with her foster, but interactions always need to be on her terms. She is still learning confidence and trust, so she would thrive with a patient, understanding adopter who can continue to guide her gently. Bean is also working on potty and leash training, making positive reinforcement and encouragement important.
This sweet girl is full of personality, puppy-like energy, and love to share—she just needs someone who is ready to take the time to help her blossom. Bean would do best in a home with another confident, playful dog and a calm, patient environment where she can continue to grow at her own pace.

Wags and Whiskers Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit all-breed, animal rescue organization incorporated in August 2015. We are a primarily volunteer-driven group with years of experience with animals and rescue. Our mission is to rescue, foster, rehabilitate, and rehome abandoned, abused, and unwanted animals.
