Greetings Hoomans! My name is Spoon and I am a little over 4 months old black, male kitten. I’m here at Golden Paws with my Mom and three brothers. We came here shortly after I was born so that we could find our forever homes. My brothers and I are always running around playing, pouncing on each other and attacking our toys like the fierce lions we are. Hoomans here are very nice to us and give us belly rubs and hugs, but we all still want our forever homes, complete with our very own hoomans. I really like hoomans, especially children hoomans, and take every opportunity to play with them and snuggle up on their lap. You will also find that I am very brave and love exploring our home here, while having one adventure after another. I have heard the hoomans say that it’s sometimes harder for a black kitty to find a forever home, but I can’t imagine why. After all, black is the most common color for a kitty. We also have our very own national holidays in this country. Every August 27th is National Black Cat Appreciation Day and October 17th is National Black Cat Day. Can any of my fellow felines match that? We must be doing something right. I love other cats as well and I think I will like doggies when I meet them, but I don’t know many yet. Mom watches me and my brothers Fork, Knife and Spork, very carefully. So there you have it. Hows about filling out an application and then coming in to visit with me, my brothers and my Mom. I am neutered, I’ve had all my shots, and I’m ready to go. Come in and take me to my special forever home. You might like one of my brothers or my Mom to go with us too.
