Skylar was released to us from owners who could no longer care for her.
Skylar has beautiful baby blue eyes. This sweet princess was so scared of us just a few weeks ago but now comes to us, wants us to pet her and love on her. She is still timid and very shy with new people so she will be going to petco every Saturday to socialize her with lots of new people.
Skylar has done great playing with new dogs. She gets overwhelmed with the larger dogs but is learning to trust them. Some of them play too rough so she tends to try and avoid those dogs.
Skylar is doing great with her crate training but still needs time, patience and love in helping her to master this skill. Come meet this beautiful pup.

Furry Kids' Refuge is in need of good quality dog and puppy food with meat as the first ingredient. You can drop off donations at our weekly adoption events at the Lee's Summit Petco (1860 NW Chipman Road, Lee's Summit, MO), Saturdays only from 11am to 2:00 p.m. Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
