My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Delphi and Nyx are still searching for their forever home. These sisters have been through a lot in their short 2 years of life and they are very bonded.

Delphi is very outgoing and friendly. She loves to chase foil balls around and is always down for a good brushing. Nyx is a little more shy but also likes getting brushed and physical affection.

Both of them have vision impairment but it doesn't slow them down! Nyx's favorite hang out spot is the very top of her 6ft cat tree. Nyx's right eye is mostly covered by scar tissue but she still has limited vision in the top 1/3 of the pupil. They had severe eye infections as tiny kittens which lead to the scaring you see in their eyes now. The condition is not painful and shouldn't cause issues in the future.

Delphi is on a prescription gastrointestinal diet to address constipation and occasionally takes miralax (in a pile of churu).

They are looking for a quiet home where they can lounge with their human, get snackies, and be co-regents of their castle.

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit organization that exists to save the lives of at-risk cats and kittens in the Central Florida area. This is primarily done through fostering those that are sick and/or medically needy until they are healthy and old enough to be placed in a forever home.

We believe that saving more lives can be accomplished through educating others on the importance of spaying and neutering as well as through safe and effective trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNvR) practices.

We live by the conviction that compassion for animals applies to all species, not just cats.
