Charles has been in our care for OVER A YEAR AND A HALF—and this sweet, goofy boy is more than ready to find a forever home of his very own!
This 3-year-old pit was on the brink of being put down at the shelter just because his previous owner had a "change in lifestyle." But thanks to one of our incredible fosters, Charles was rescued and now he's eagerly waiting to meet his perfect match.

🔎 He's a curious explorer! This little snuggle bug loves to check out new places and can't wait to explore his entire territory with you.
😎 Are you an outdoorsy family? Charles is too! He adores spending time outside, especially when it's with his favorite humans.
🙌 Already potty and kennel trained, Charles is ready to jump straight into bonding with his new family.
🏆 He’s been attending training to have the best manners—he knows “sit” and does wonderfully with both male and female dog friends.
🚫 Charles prefers a cat-free household but is non-reactive to cats, so with supervision and patience, he might be able to adjust to a feline roommate.
Charles has completed his heartworm treatment and is now healthy and thriving! He’s energetic, goofy, sweet, and so, so happy. It’s impossible not to fall in love with Charlie Brown. He’s dog-friendly, responsive to corrections, keeps his kennel clean, isn’t a chewer, and LOVES to run and play.
