Meet Tillie, a 1-year-old, 37-lb brindle beauty with a joyful spirit, a smart mind, and the sweetest snuggle game you can imagine.
Tillie is playful and energetic (hello, zoomies!) but incredibly patient and gentle - especially with kids. She’s done wonderfully with a toddler and could be a great fit for a family with children. After she gets her energy out, she’s all about curling up on the couch, resting her head in your lap, and drifting off to sleep.
✨ **What makes Tillie special:**
• Kid-friendly, gentle, and patient
• Excellent on a leash and loves going for walks
• Very intelligent and highly food-motivated (easy to train!)
• Knows sit, place, kennel/bed, and come
• Calm in the home with good manners—gives a quick alert bark and settles right back down
Tillie is looking for a home where her humans will continue to provide structure and positive reinforcement as she refines her training. With the right home, Tillie will be a loving, loyal companion - happy to join you on walks, learn new things, and end every day snuggled close.

The Street Dog Project is comprised of a small group of volunteers who are passionate about saving street dogs in Dallas, TX. The majority of our team was previously heavily involved at another local street dog rescue but left for various reasons over the years. We wanted to save more lives so "got the band back together". We are an experienced team of rescuers, operating under a new name.
We have a lot of experience capturing elusive street dogs and helping them adjust to life in a loving home.
The dogs are taken to the vet upon rescue so they can be examined, dewormed, vaccinated, spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (and treated if positive) and attend to any other medical needs. Life on the streets is tough so a lot of the dogs we take in have beyond basic medical needs. Heartworm, mange, leg and eye injuries are some of the most common medical conditions we encounter.
We are an all-volunteer organization and rely on donations to save lives. Donations can be made by clicking the "donate now" button on our Facebook page or visiting www.thestreetdogproject.org. Thanks for your support!
