My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

There is so much to say about our wonderful little Dune, it’ll be hard to keep this succinct. If you're lookin for an endlessly friendly, social, outgoing feline, look no further than Dune! We are 100% sure that we have never met a cat that loves people more than Dune--and we've met a lot of cats! You can think of him as the extroverted, charming, life-of-the-party in every room he enters. Ever-bold and always-affectionate, there isn’t a shoulder or a lap he won’t curl onto for hours, purring, dozing, and content. Dune has impressed every person (and even every veterinary provider!) he’s ever met with his darling personality. He is always looking for a new human friend to give a gentle head-butt.

Dune is also a champion that can chase after a cat dancer or a feather wand toy with the best of them. He's a pro at playing feline friends and human companions alike, but he's also exceptional at playing solo with his favorite toys!

We know the pictures speak for themselves: Dune happens to be a total stunner with his gorgeous, golden-brown coat and his two-tone green and yellow, soulful eyes.

Dune was born with a congenital condition called atresia ani and underwent procedures early on in life to improve his quality of life. Despite the frequent vet visits and poking and prodding, Dune has always displayed a never ending capacity for love, and he particularly craves human affection. Because of his congenital condition, Dune benefits from eating Hills wet food (non-prescription), Miralax (over-the-counter), and the use of cat diapers from time-to-time to contain poop accidents.

We are looking for someone special to give this amazing boy a foster or adoptive home; he will pay it back ten fold in love. Whoever decides to bring him home will quickly discover that they are the lucky ones. Dune is a one of a kind companion, with a heart of gold. We know Dune's person is out there; could it be you?
