My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This dog`s adoption fee has been generously sponsored!

Wiggles is a Shepherd mix who was transferred from Fresno County. This sweet pup is on a journey to build his confidence and adjust to all the new sights and sounds of the big world around him.

Naturally shy, Wiggles takes his time warming up to new people and experiences, but with gentle guidance, love, and patience, he’s sure to blossom into a loyal and loving companion. He’s already showing glimpses of his curious and affectionate side—and with the right home, he’ll only continue to grow.

Wiggles absolutely loves playing hard at the park, especially with his doggie friends. Whether it’s a game of chase or a romp with his pup pals, he’s always up for some fun! He would do best in a home with another confident and pro-social dog to help him feel more comfortable and show him the ropes.

Wiggles is looking for a calm, supportive forever family that will help him feel safe as he learns and explores at his own pace. Could that be you? Meet Wiggles and see the potential waiting to shine!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
