Meet McChicken – A Sweet Boy Ready for a Fresh Start!

McChicken is a tan and white crested male guinea pig with a big heart who’s looking for a fresh lease on life. We estimate he's at least one year old, though his exact age and background are a bit of a mystery. He originally came from Petco, and his previous owner wasn’t able to provide much information.

What we do know is that McChicken is an incredibly sweet little guy who’s been through more than he lets on. When he arrived, he was sadly underweight due to not being fed daily veggies or the proper nutrition guinea pigs need to thrive. But don’t worry, he’s now getting all the love, hay, pellets, and fresh veggies he deserves, and he's already starting to perk up! With a little time and TLC, we’re confident he’ll be back to a healthy weight soon.

We’re also assessing whether McChicken would do best as a solo piggy or if he might enjoy having a friendly male companion.
