Meet Jake & Ike – Two Wild and Crazy Guys! Not really. Two sweet and cuddly boys. Jake and Ike are gorgeous, soft blue-gray tabbies. They look like twins until you get to know them – then you’ll notice that Ike has a triangular Siamese-shaped face and Jake is a little rounder and lighter. The brothers were adopted as kittens, and they lost the person they loved and the home they knew for six years. Luckily, they still have each other. They are shy at first. Once they know they are safe they are happy soaking up affection. They like to lie snuggled against your legs and are expert shadows. The boys do well with most other cats. They are calm yet playful. The boys are inside cats lounge on cat trees and have always lived in quiet homes.
Jake Jake is a sweet and sensitive boy. He is very loving and a regular shadow once he gets to know you. His brother Ike gives him confidence. Once he knows and trusts you he will follow you everywhere. Jake is shy at first with patience and treats he comes around. He makes his human feel so special.
Ike Ike is bolder than his brother – Jake. He is the leader of the two. He likes to be around people once he knows he is safe. He has a Burmese/Siamese face. He is a stunning boy. He has always lived in a quiet home and has bonded to his person. Shy at first with patience and treats he comes around. Ike and Jake are a joy to be around.Interested in adopting a companion cat from Texas Animal Society? More about this rescue
Our goal is to promote the health and care of pets in your community through involvement, education and prevention (spay/neuter), to give a voice to the animals in need and to provide a means for others to help in the plight of dogs and cats in need of assistance, care and homes. Through the means of rescue, volunteering and fostering we can help accomplish the ultimate goal of providing quality care and humane lives for dogs and cats in Texas. We strive to work with individuals, county facilities, other rescues and local communities.
Founded in 2011 as MCASociety to support our local animal shelter, we soon learned we should strive to do more and rebranded to Texas Animal Society. Reaching beyond our local shelter to help the community and others as well as our shelter.
TAS is strictly operated by donations. All donations directly benefit animal welfare and care of dogs and cats.
Please consider donating to TAS for the continued rescue efforts and vetting for dogs and cats in need.
