Meet Duke!

Duke was surrendered to us after his owner fell ill and could no longer care for him. He is a sweet, happy fur-ball and is looking for a place to roam around and snuggle with his humans. He loves stuffies, romping around the yard, and getting all the treats! Duke is good with other dogs and people of all shapes and sizes, but says "no thank you" to the feline friends. Duke can be a bit of a flight risk, so he needs to be supervised in the yard when he's out or kept on a leash outside. Duke is an all around great dog that would love to be your best friend forever.

Please complete our online adoption application if you wish to apply for one of our adoptable pets. Adoption fees range from $200 to $400. All dogs adopted from PAWS come with 1 month of free daycare at KC PAWS. All pets adopted from PAWS will be current on their vaccinations and spayed or neutered and microchipped prior to their release.

Please be patient as we often receive multiple applications therefore the time frame may vary slightly at times.

More about this shelter

We are an organization determined to work for the benefit of animals in need. Whether it be helping to find new homes for our adoptable friends or working in connection with local and City agencies to investigate cases of cruelty and neglect. Our staff is able to handle a wide variety of these types of issues as well as working with animals with behavioral, socialization, or training issues.

All pets adopted from PAWS will be current on their vaccinations and spayed or neutered and microchipped prior to their release.
