My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Echo, a beautiful and spirited 3.5 year-old rottweiler ready to find her forever home.

The pound found Echo flea-infested and began her care, and by the time we pulled her, she was very sick with pneumonia. Severely underweight and exhausted, she has since made a remarkable recovery, gaining back her strength and joy for life. At a healthy 96 pounds, she’s a big, lovable, and sometimes clumsy girl who’s eager to be cherished by a family who will love her as much as we do.

Echo is the ideal balance of affectionate and protective. She’s alert and will keep an eye on her home, yet she’s never met a stranger. Friendly with both people and dogs, she’s adaptable to just about any environment. Echo is smart, curious, and loves life’s simple pleasures—from walks and car rides to watching the world go by from her favorite window. She’s house-trained, pee-pad trained, and even dog-door trained, making her as practical as she is perfect.

We can’t imagine what her past held that led to her being abandoned, but Echo has shown nothing but strength, warmth, and love. She’s ready for a family who will value her as much as she deserves, and we’re committed to helping her find that amazing home. If you’re looking for a loyal, joyful companion, Echo may be the perfect addition to your family.

The adoption donation for Echo is $250.

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention (age appropriate).

If you would like to meet this dog, you must have an approved application on file and be willing to travel to the Mahoning County, Ohio area for a meet and greet. All of our dogs reside in foster homes. We do not have a physical shelter.

Applications will be reviewed/approved and each dog will be placed in the home that can best meet their individual need. A successful adoption is our goal. Submitting an application does not guarantee adoption of any dog.

We require you call your established veterinarian asap to schedule a wellness visit.
