My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Wednesday

I wanted to tell you about a very special cat I recently found, whom I've named Wednesday. It was quite a surprise – I found her inside my lake house, nestled on one of my indoor/outdoor cats' scratching posts, fast asleep! My resident cats are usually very protective of their space, so it was clear that Wednesday was seeking a safe place.

It became apparent very quickly that Wednesday is not an outdoor cat and likely had been abandoned. She instinctively found her way to a secure environment, and now she is ready to find a loving, permanent home.

Wednesday is a beautiful Tabico cat with striking markings and incredibly expressive eyes. I estimate she is between two and three years old, and her personality is just as lovely as she looks. She is an incredibly affectionate cat who craves attention. She would be happiest snuggled on your lap, sleeping at the foot of your bed, or simply being close to you.

One of Wednesday's favorite pastimes is sitting by the window, observing the world outside. She also seems to prefer her own company and has shown some defensiveness towards my other resident cats when they approach her. However, she has been completely unbothered by my small Maltipoo dog, so she might do well in a home with a small, calm dog. I'm unsure how she would react to larger dogs.

Wednesday is truly a sweet and deserving cat, and I am committed to finding her the perfect forever home where she will be cherished. While her past is a bit of a mystery, her future can be bright with the right family. If you think Wednesday might be the right fit for you, please fill out an adoption application. I have a feeling she won't be available for long.

Thank you for considering opening your heart and home to Wednesday.

All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.

If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer.
