Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Acorn!
This beautiful 5-year-old black Domestic Shorthair was adopted as a kitten and recently returned to HART through no fault of her own—her family faced a severe illness and had to make the heartbreaking decision to let her go.
Acorn is a smart, sweet, and affectionate girl who loves to be near her people. While she's not a lap cat, she adores attention—chin scratches, head rubs, and even belly rubs are her love language! She enjoys lounging on the couch and sleeping close by, always keeping you company without being clingy.
In her previous home, she even made friends with the family pup—they could often be found cuddled up together! She’s playful too and used to fetch like a little dog.
Acorn adjusted to her new foster home right away and was immediately receptive to affection. She’s a calm, easygoing companion looking for a quiet home where she can be loved and appreciated.
If you’re looking for a loyal friend with a gentle soul and a playful side, Acorn might just be your perfect match.
All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.
If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer.
