Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Location: Burbank, SD
Say hello to Daphne, a sweet and gentle mama dog who has poured all her love into raising her six precious puppies—and now they’re all ready to find forever homes!
Daphne is a loving, and incredibly nurturing girl but someone has to have the patience to work with her. She’s done an amazing job caring for her babies and is now looking forward to a little rest and relaxation in a home where she’ll be cherished as much as she deserves. She’s great with adults once she gets to know and trust them, has been good with some dogs at her foster home, and always ready for a cuddle.
Daphne is a gentle but guarded dog. As a rescue dog we do not know her history with people. Quick movements, loud voices, strangers, make her flinch, and she often watches from a safe distance before deciding to approach. An adult only household might be best and no cats or small animal friends.
But once she feels safe, Daphne shows glimpses of the dog she’s meant to be: calm, observant, and deeply nurturing. She’s been a devoted mother, and now that her pups are finding their forever homes, she deserves one too — with someone patient, quiet, and willing to let her come out of her shell on her own terms.
If you're ready to open your heart to Daphne or one of her pups, let’s find the perfect match. These sweet souls can’t wait to start their new chapter—could it be with you? Daphne doesn’t need grand gestures — just consistency, kindness, and space to heal

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).
Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
