My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB 10/2024

Adoption Special 10-21 to 10-31-25 $75 for single cat and $125 for bonded pair.

Saville is a golden and gray Tortoiseshell, with beautiful greenish eyes. She is calm and gentle. Her relaxed attitude and serenity have earned her the nickname of “zen kitty”. She is quick to purr like a motorboat with a sound that fills the entire room. She loves to cuddle and snuggle and play with others. Saville is low maintenance, not demanding much—until she wants your attention. Then watch out!

Saville will fit into any home who is lucky enough to have her; although dogs are an unknown. It may take an adjustment period before she is confident enough to accept a dog but her temperament suggests that she would make the adjustment. She is healthy and free of parasites and diseases and up to date on her vaccines.

Saville is bonded to Munch.

Adoption fee $100 for adult. All cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), tested for Fiv/FELV, microchipped, have received age appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and worms. We are not first come, first served. We try to match our kitties with the purrfect home.

Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all volunteer organization. All our kitties are in foster care. We ask that you be patient with us as we connect you to the foster to set up a meet and greet.

Most of our kittens are placed in bonded pairs. One of the most important ways we can support the behavioral and emotional development of a kitten is to make sure they’ve got a friend. Despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. That’s why the cat experts always recommend adopting two kittens, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat in the home for the kitten to befriend. It may come as a surprise to hear this, but two kittens are actually half the work of one! Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of the cats, while also making your life easier.

In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes, we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. Please fill out an application, https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information.
