My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tofu, a sweet, beautiful Snowshoe Siamese kitten with a gentle disposition. This boy came to us from the streets of Colton, CA, after a neighbor reached out for help. Both Tofu and his twin brother, Miso, were living with a family until they were dumped outside to fend for themselves.

Tofu picked up a habit of giving love bites and we're working on correcting that behavior. As soon as I say, "Ow!" he looks confused like, "oh, you don't want me to do that?!"

As you'll see, in their adoption video, these sweet boys are very social and enjoy human contact and interaction. They're still learning how to play with humans... even the feather toy, on a wand, was foreign to them. They've also been introduced to their first crinkle tunnel and have begun playing with complete abandon.

Since these brothers are so bonded, we're hoping to adopt them out as a bonded pair. The easiest way to tell Tofu apart from Miso is by his front legs - which are cream colored, whereas Miso's are brown with the white boots.

You'll find their rescue journey chronicled in Photo Album #35 on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties". There you'll also find photo and video updates on ALL our rescued cats and kittens.

Tofu's adoption will include his:
* Neuter surgery,
* De-worming,
* Flea and mite treatment,
* FVRCP vaccinations,
* Rabies vaccination,
* Combo-test (for FIV/FeLV = negative),
* and Microchipping!

~ $150. adoption fee, adoption contract and home check apply / $250 for a pair ~

* Please only contact us if you'll be making this cutie a permanent member of your household and will be keeping him safe indoors.

** We do not adopt out kittens or cats where they will be the only pet at home. Kittens rely on each other for emotional support and continued social and behavioral development. For example: another kitten or cat will teach them when they're playing too rough or biting too hard. Plus, cats and kittens get very lonely when you're not at home! Having a playmate will keep them happier, healthier and out of trouble. **We offer a discount when adopting a pair!

*** You can also find all our adoptables on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties" (including their rescue story, photos and video updates).

Interested in becoming a much-needed foster? Please send us a message with your best contact info, the type of home environment you can provide and, most-importantly, the City in which you live. Thanks!
