When Reba first came into our care, she was barely hanging on—just over 3 pounds, with painful sores in her mouth, deep wounds on her paws, and a matted coat that had to be shaved off. But this senior girl had a spark in her, and we knew she deserved a second chance.

Months later, Reba made a stunning transformation. Her coat grew back beautifully, her mouth is now pain-free (all her teeth have been removed—but don’t worry, she still loves her dry food!), and those once-wounded paws now carry her proudly as she explores her world.

Reba spent a few months in a loving home, but she let us know she’s happiest in a calmer, slower-paced environment. She’s now looking for a true retirement home—a peaceful place where she can relax, feel safe, and be adored just as she is.

Reba isn’t a lap cat, but she’s a gentle, steady presence who enjoys affection on her own terms—usually once a day, when the world is quiet and she’s ready for love. She’s also delightfully food-motivated and can always be coaxed out with her favorite crunchy treats.
