Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Reuben is a true gentleman in every sense of the word. With his calm presence and gentle eyes, Reuben is the kind of dog who makes you feel instantly at ease. He`s friendly, polite, and carries himself with the quiet confidence of a pup who’s seen a bit of life and still believes the best is yet to come. He’s the definition of “nice”—always sweet, never pushy, and ready with a wag for everyone he meets. Reuben is heartworm positive and will be starting treatment soon. Imagine waking up to this smile every morning… and falling asleep knowing it’s the last thing you’ll see before you dream. ? HSNMB does not hold animals and all adoptions are done on a first-come, first-served basis in person at the shelter. Once the adoption is completed and the fee is paid, you must take the animal with you at that time.
Please be sure to bring a photo ID and cash or a credit card for the adoption fee. The primary caregiver is required to be present to go through the adoption process. Any children 5 and under and, in some cases, any existing dogs living in the home will be required to be present and meet the animal prior to adopting. Meet and greets are not required for all animals, but may be deemed necessary by HSNMB staff for specific pets.
Adoption Fees:
Cats (over 6 months of age): $60
Kittens (under 6 months of age): $100
Dogs (over 6 months of age): $110
Puppies (under 6 months of age): $140
Seniors ages 60 and up qualify for discounted adoptions fees.
