Scout, is a 10-year-old shih tzu mix who started life in a puppy mill, making her a bit shy around humans. But when it comes to dogs—especially Sophie—Scout is all in. Scout enjoys walks alongside Sophie, though she prefers to avoid grass. Sophie is potty-trained, while Scout prefers using a potty pad due to lingering effects from her early life.
Her BFF Sophie, a 9-year-old beagle mix, is the ultimate social butterfly—she adores dogs, cats, people, and even carrots! She’s happiest on a stroll but also enjoys neighborhood watch duty from her favorite cozy spot. Though she was recently diagnosed with diabetes, she’s doing well with insulin management.
Both pups are up to date on vaccines and looking for a home filled with love.
