Meet JAX, a 3.5 year-old, 55 pound, male border collie mix. JAX is the complete package for the right person or active family. He is smart, handsome, walks well on a leash, very responsive to training, adventurous, and fun!
JAX is looking for a very active home that will give him all the love and attention he needs. He would love an adopter, a couple, or a family that will help him lose 5-7 pounds by jogging, hiking, and exploring the world. He is very good with kids and other dogs, doesn’t mind the ducks, and is increasingly better at leaving the cats at his foster home alone.
JAX is crate trained and house trained and a pleasure to walk on a leash. He has a decent recall and it is improving daily with training at his foster home. He LOVES the woods and water, training exercises and intellectual stimulation, and playing Chuckit! and fetching the ball. Jax has a bucket list, which includes an outdoorsy and adventurous active adopter and forever home.
“Action JAXson” is ready to bring boundless joy, energy, and activity to his forever home. He's neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped and ready for adventure. JAX is being fostered in Renton, Washington, and his adoption fee is $400.
