Jackpot is a 7-year-old mini, F1 Bernedoodle (28-30 lbs). He spent the first 3 years of his life in a kennel breeding environment. While with us, he has been part of our breeding program where all of our dogs are pets in our home.
Jackpot has been health tested and OFA certified for hips, elbows, and cardiac. He is current on his 5-way vaxx and rabies.
Unfortunately, although Jackpot has had house access and socoialization with our family, he has remained rather aloof. He is a bit fearful of people, but with the right sort of "rescue person," we (and our vet) believe he can become a better-adapted pet. Despite his fear, he has NEVER been aggressive, but will only tense when picked up, etc.
A fenced yard is a must, as this is what he is used to. At some point, he might adapt to a wireless fence or leash-walking, but I wouldn't expect that right away. He uses a dog door. Neutering highly recommended. For now, we use "belly bands" when he is indoors, and this works well.
