Hilda is living in a foster home in Lake Mills, Wisconsin.

Looking for a low-maintenance companion with a heart full of love? Say hello to Hilda—a tiny Texas sweetheart now living her best foster life in Wisconsin! Hilda has lived with dogs of all shapes and sizes, and while she coexists just fine, Hilda would thrive as the only pup in your life. This little princess knows what she wants—and what she wants is a home where she can soak up all the attention and cuddles. She's a low-energy gal who’s happiest napping in a sunbeam, curled up in a cozy chair, or snuggled right next to her human. That said, Hilda is still active enough to play with her toys before crashing into a nap. A true professional at locating the comfiest snoozing spots, she’s already claimed the best chair in the house as her personal throne. Hilda’s a people-lover through and through—sweet, cuddly, and totally devoted. She's also a proud squirrel patrol officer and keeps a watchful eye on her foster's yard from her sunny perch. Occasionally, she gets a little spicy if a nap is interrupted by another pup, but hey, don’t we all? This darling girl is sweet, snuggly, and 100% ready to be someone’s whole world. Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care.

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
