My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cat Woman!

This adorable kitten is a great mix between affectionate and playful! She loves playing all day with her siblings, but she is also very people oriented and wants to get petted. She is food motivated and loves both her wet and dry food. She has a soft coat and loves to be scratched on her head and neck. She is such a curious girl with such goofy antics that will make you laugh! She plays hard and loves toy wands and tunnels!

Cat Woman has been doing great around children and her kitten siblings. She is so sweet. She would love to have another cat in the house - what about one of her three littermates? She is a little bit more shy than her siblings, but she has really blossomed in foster! She is so happy and well adjusted with her best friend Wonder Woman. She likes to go in tunnels and under sleep mats/towels so she can sneak attack toys!

If you are looking for a playful cat that wants to follow you around the house, this is your girl! She is looking for her new forever family!

Cat Woman is about eleven months old. She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea treated, dewormed, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

**Cat Woman is currently being fostered with a littermate who has tested FeLV regressive on IDEXX PCR. Cat Woman has been Feline Leukemia vaccinated due to this, but we will want to discuss what this could mean for her with any potential interested adopters!

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Typically we talk a little with potential adopters to find a cat who is a good fit before sharing the application.

2.

Approve Application

We check over the application including checking vet references and doing landlord checks.

3.

Interview

We spend more time chatting with the adopters to specifically go over any questions from the application and details about the specific cat.

4.

Meet the Pet

Potential adopters have a meet and greet with the cat or kitten in the foster home.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

At the meet and greet, if all goes well, the adoption contract can be signed, the fee can be paid, and the pet can go home!

6.

Pay Fee

7.

Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

More about this rescue

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.

Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
