Rue is a gentle 3-year-old girl who’s blossoming into a confident, affectionate companion and is ready to find her forever home.
When Rue first arrived, she was shy and unsure around both humans and other animals. But with time, patience, and the loving company of her foster family—including three playful kittens and a 60-pound dog—she’s discovered the joys of snuggles, playtime, and trust.
Rue may take a little time to warm up, but once she does, she’ll reward you tenfold with her quiet loyalty and love. She’s sweet, mellow, and incredibly low-maintenance—the kind of cat who brings calm and comfort wherever she goes. And fun fact: Rue has never scratched a piece of furniture!
With her laid-back personality, Rue would do beautifully as a solo cat or with easygoing feline friends.
