Emerald – Young Mama, Total Sweetheart
Emerald is a sleek, shorthaired black beauty with a tiny dab of white on her neck and a heart full of love. She came into our care in early March with her newborn kittens, just days old at the time. At not even a year old herself—her estimated date of birth is July 5, 2024—she had already taken on the responsibility of motherhood far too young. But she stepped up with grace and was a wonderful, nurturing mom.
Now that her babies have been adopted together, it’s Emerald’s time to shine. She is spayed, has tested negative for both feline leukemia and FIV, is up to date on all vaccinations, has been treated for fleas and worms, and has a negative fecal test. She weighs just over 7 pounds and is as cute as a button.
Emerald is as loving as they come—she greets every person she meets with affection, climbs into laps, and shows off her belly for rubs. She’s confident, playful, and endlessly social. She gets along with other cats but isnt afraid to stand her ground. That said, she would also be perfectly content as your one and only, soaking up all the love and attention.
