My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB: March 31, 2010

Muppet is a blind, senior sweetheart with a calm spirit and a deep love for people. Though she can’t see, she confidently explores her space with the roundest, most endearing eyes—always dilated, always full of curiosity. She quickly builds trust and within a day will be purring by your side or draped over your shoulder, melting into your arms for a cuddle.

Her favorite thing in the world? Head scratches. She’ll gently tilt her head to help you find the perfect spot and reward you with soft purrs. Muppet is low-energy and spends most of her time lounging near your bed, where she feels safe and close. She’ll often climb up for pets when you wake or wind down, and she keeps herself entertained with gentle grooming and the occasional funny snore or suckle sound.

Muppet was a beloved indoor companion until her previous guardian had to leave the country. While she’s lived with cats before, she’s currently stressed around new feline friends and would thrive as the only cat in a peaceful, loving home.

Because she doesn’t jump, Muppet will need safe, soft spaces with ramps or low surfaces she can easily access. She also has kidney issues and will need a special kidney care diet—but she's incredibly easy to care for and would be a perfect fit for someone in a small space or working long hours.

Muppet is an incredibly sweet and easygoing companion. Despite her special needs, she’s low-maintenance and would be a wonderful match for a first-time cat parent. With her relaxed nature and tendency to stay in one cozy spot throughout the day, she’s especially well-suited for small living spaces or homes where people are away for long hours.

If you’re looking for a gentle, loving soul to share your quiet moments, Muppet is ready to bring comfort, companionship, and charm into your life.

Thank you for welcoming a senior cat into your family - an adoption fee of your choice is appreciated, vs. our standard adult cat adoption fee of $225.
