My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ever Wanted a Best Friend Who's Equal Parts Smart and Splash-Happy Goofball?

Hi, I'm Tundra, and I've got a story to tell. My siblings Glacier and Yukon and I came from pretty rough beginnings in Bastrop, Texas. We were struggling with Demodex mange and in terrible condition when we were rescued. But thanks to the amazing care we received, we bounced back stronger than ever.

Here's the thing about me: I'm confident, intelligent, and full of personality. I've got a little extra spice that makes life interesting—I know my own mind and I'm not shy about expressing myself. I'm incredibly smart and pick up on things quickly, which keeps life fun and exciting.

But here's what makes me special: I LOVE playing with all other dogs! I'm that friend who wants everyone to have a good time. I'm currently attending training class where I'm learning my manners, and I absolutely adore water—splashing, playing, cooling off on a hot day. Water is my jam!

Now here's the hard part: I've grown up at C.A.R.E. My sisters have found their homes and left, and honestly? I really need a home too. I've been waiting, watching them go, wondering when it's my turn.
I'm loving and loyal with a spirited personality that keeps things interesting. I've overcome so much already, and now I'm ready to find a family who will love my playful side, my intelligence, and my strong will.

Are you ready to give me the home I've been dreaming of? Because I'm ready to finally go home.

With confidence and hope,
Tundra

Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference.
